Changing my firmware

Upgrading Custom Firmware

Upgrading a firmware is tricky and yea if u are unlucky and press a wrong button when upgrading your firmware, you're screwed. if u are lucky and its a half brick as in your screen is all black. A full brick....... u can kiss your psp goodbye. I've heard pandora battery may be able to fix it. That or u replace your motherboard.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Going on to custom firmware upgrading, first download that firmware example 3.90m33, you need 3.52 m33-3 or higher firmware. Install that first then 3.90m33 always read instructions first. Copy the update folder to /PSP/Game and run the program. Run as in on your psp and run IT!!! Once u on your psp check if u have sufficient battery or u risk a brick. If u see a pitch black screen, try pressing the lighting button for brightness it will probably relit the screen. Well it worked for me.

Follow the instructions carefully and don't freaking off your bloody psp halfway updating. Go bang your head on the wall or jump off the building. If u are rich and buy a new 1 or be adventurous and try to replace the motherboard.

Yea if u off it halfway don't say i didn't warn u. If u see update successful, don't be so happy and off it it may still BRICK!!! Follow instructions and press the buttons it said to restart / shutdown the psp. Once you're done and Voila u have a custom firmware psp and u learnt a new skill. You are good to go!You can now play downloaded games! Custom firmware can be downloaded at www.pspiso.com

About custom firmware (CFW)

Psp : Custom firmware

Info: Nowadays people are playing games on their psps. You see a lot of games and you wonder if they got a multi game UMD. Actually they just modified their PSPs and enabled them to be able to play psp games or so we say iso / cso. We have to check your psp's firmware first. On your psp, go to systems settings and check system information. System settings > System information. Scroll down and u will see it. Your system software is your current firmware. If u see OEA or m33 it is a custom firmware and you can play downloaded games. You just have to upgrade it to the latest version to be able to play them. Go check for latest psp custom firmware on google and you should be able to find some sites for you to download. Although there are some websites that offer torrents.... well i don't recommend torrents. I prefer file hosting websites but thats my recommendation. File hosting websites are the best!

A good website which i recommend to download games and firmware is www.pspiso.com. It is free and offers many games and firmware!

How to make your buyer feel secure!

The refund policy

In my perspective, the refund policy is very important. You should

guarantee a 100% refund should the buyer be unhappy. Your role as a

seller is to sell off a particular product at a price which sounds good to you and makes the buyer happy.

It is your job to ensure that the buyers are happy with the products you sell them! So of course, as mention above, promise them exactly what they see in the picture.

However, we also know that pictures are not everything. Buyers can only try them when they receive it. And if they are unhappy, its only right to refund them.

Put yourself into their shoes, would you be happy if you paid a few hundred bucks and you got a PSP that could not work properly? Your refund policy should look something like this:

Example:

Refund policy 100% guaranteed. If my product does not meet up to your expectations or differ from the pictures shown, your money will be returned. Your happiness is my concern and i want to make sure my product satisfies you!

However, always set some rules for refunding. This is to prevent yourself

from being cheated. You can add rules like, refundable on after 7 days after purchase. Product must come with a receipt or refunding policy will be void. For a receipt you can always sign it on a piece of paper.

Looking to sell your PSP fast?

How to sell/buy a PSP on Ebay effectively?

To sell:

Give very detailed information regarding your PSP. Do not attempt to lie about how old it is etc.

Example:

My PSP is 1year old and is working fine. It has no scratches and has a

screen protector on to protect the screen. Buttons are working fine, in tip- top condition. It has a custom firmware of 3.71 M3-3. Never has it been dropped before.

Give an attractive heading to for your sale.

Example:

Tip-top condition PSP on sale for a limited period of time.

Cheap modified / custom PSP for sale, price is negotiable.

Selling PSP, perfect screen condition, refundable after 3 days

if not up to satisfaction.

Always set the bid slightly lower than the price you are looking at. Then, with an attractive heading, bids should increase.

I don't recommend setting a price that is around what others are selling for. If you want to sell your PSP quickly, set the bid at a slightly lower price which others are selling for to get buyers. Since people always look for cheap stuff. Make use of their "cheapness" and ensnare them to your product. Although you have to actually get a good product for them to be interested in.
